Maya Faour, founder of Glow Simplified

The person behind it

Skincare felt complicated. It was never supposed to be this hard.

I'm Maya, the real person behind Glow Simplified. I built it because I watched too many women do everything right and still feel lost in front of their own bathroom shelf.

You have felt it too. A drawer full of half-used bottles. A dozen must-haves from people whose skin is nothing like yours. Advice that contradicts the advice you read last week. So you buy more, hope harder, and quietly wonder what you are doing wrong.

Here is what I want you to hear: it was never you. It was the noise. The skincare industry is very good at selling products, and not remotely interested in helping you understand them. Confusion keeps you buying.

Less, but right.

Your skin does not need ten steps. It needs the right few, done consistently, chosen for your skin instead of someone else's. That is not a disappointing answer. It is the honest one.

The rules I build by

Everything here follows the same three.

Built for your skin

Your routine comes from your own answers, not from an influencer whose skin is nothing like yours.

The basics, honestly

No miracle promises, no fake urgency, no testimonials I cannot stand behind. Just what the science agrees on, in plain words.

A real person behind it

Not a faceless brand running a funnel. It is me, and I genuinely want your skin to work.

The other person behind it

The one who builds it.

Sasu Dan Liviu · Co-founder · Design & engineering

Liviu is an automation engineer by trade, the kind who keeps industrial machinery running and expects the same reliability from a website. He designed and built everything you can click here: the tools, the ingredient data pipeline, and the tests behind our verdicts, including the failed ones we chose to publish. He is permanently learning something new; lately that mostly means whatever this site needs next. Off the clock he dances salsa, bachata and kizomba, which he insists is also engineering: timing, structure, and knowing when not to force a move.

Where to start

Two tools. Zero guessing.

No overwhelm, no shelf full of regret. Just simple, confident skincare, and someone on the other side who wants yours to work.
